The Opticon OPN-2001 at the moment is the smallest, most compact barcode scanner on the market. Measuring a mere 62 x 30 x 16mm and weighing in at only 28grams, this is the ultimate device in portable barcode scanning. Small enough to slide into a pocket but big enough in performance to scan on-the-go for hours.
Opticon's OPN2001 is fitted with Opticon's latest generation of 100 scans per second laser engine and boasts the same features that can be found on many of the larger, more expensive competitors terminals. The on-board 512K of Flash data memory ensures that thousands of codes can be stored securely, in fact over 10,000 codes can be stored and deleted by the user at anytime by using the two on board scanner buttons! The USB interface acts not only to communicate data to a host but also to charge the built-in Li-Ion battery of the OPN 2001. Direct data stored on the OPN-2001 can automatically be downloaded to any USB computer system, including desktop PC's, Tablet PC's and Laptops.
The Opticon OPN-2001 also has an integrated real time clock to facilitate date and time stamping, making everyday scanning and recording of data simple and fast.
