Windows Mobile 6.1, Microsoft´s latest operating system, is now available for selected Motorola devices - including MC75 and MC70 handheld computers with other manufacturers due to follow shortly. The new, enhanced software makes text messaging, checking emails and many more communications and collaboration tasks quicker and easier than ever before. What´s more, it delivers significant improvements in device management and security - so you can deploy your Motorola mobile devices in your company´s IT infrastructure as you would PCs or laptops.

Windows Mobile 6.1 delivers a host of new and improved functionality to help you get things done faster, easier and more efficiently while on the move. New features include:

* New, more user-friendly home screen
* Improved device security
* Better Wi-Fi connectivity
But that’s not all. Windows Mobile 6.1 also includes the Microsoft System Centre Mobile Device Manager – so you can deploy and manage your mobile devices like PCs and laptops, and have access to critical corporate data inside and outside the four walls. The new software also offers features exclusive to Motorola’s MC75, such as support for SDHC micro SD cards (4GB and 8GB) and standard stacks from Microsoft and Stonestreet One.
